The Growlers Share New Track "Late Bloomers"

June 5, 2017

It makes perfect sense that "Late Bloomers," which was released a few days ago by the Growlers, was an outtake from their most recent album City Club. It would feel pretty out of place, but god damn is this a beautiful song.

"Late Bloomers" is a more modern and clean version of their OG Beach Goth sound, with some serious reggae vibes. The track was produced by Julian Casablancas and has recently made its way into the band’s current live set, which you'll be able to see since the Growlers have announced a fall tour that features east and west coast residencies (three-show runs at The Independent, San Francisco and Brooklyn Bowl, Brooklyn).

Listen to "Late Bloomers" below.
