Whenever a track from Tame Impala's brilliant 2015 LP Currents ever comes on, we can't help but think about how it's just as incendiary as it was when it first dropped a couple years ago. Kevin Parker's insatiable song-writing and sonic prowess make every track almost impossible to not groove along to.
Now Tame Impala is releasing an expanded collectors’ edition of the album, which is a box set that includes the original version of the album, pressed on limited edition red marbled vinyl and coupled with alternate artwork. There is also a handful of bonus material, including a flexidisc containing three unreleased B-sides taken from the album’s recording sessions, and a 12-inch that boasts two remixes: one by Tame Impala member Jay Watson, a.ka. GUM, and another by Soulwax.
