RICHER POORER SKATE SAN PEDRO

https://vimeo.com/139971956Richer Poorer does lookbooks a little different than the standard printed matter. The accessories skate brand has become notorious for releasing rad skate videos of their stacked team of fresh, young skaters who manage to show off all of the brand's latest designs while entertaining the hell out of you.

For Richer Poorer's new Fall/Winter Athletics Club lookbook, Taylor Caruso, Christian Maalouf, Daniel Shimizu, and Chris Pastras skate through the scenic hills of San Pedro to push with skateboard legend Cooper Wilt. From the new Peck Park downhill bowl to the low-key graffiti-ridden nooks that have skaters stopping through all day, San Pedro's hilly landscape (and perfect views of the bustling Pedro Port) proves the perfect backdrop to the video reel and incredible photos by LA-based photographer Aaron Farley.

San Pedro has become somewhat of a skating mecca in the last 10 years with the increasing push by the San Pedro Skatepark Association (SPSA) to help fund, build, and maintain the infamous Channel Street Skatepark and now the Peck Park Skatepark.

Watch Chris Pastras and company stop off at the San Pedro Fish Market for some grub, cruise to the Korean Bell of Friendship - a cliffside spot overlooking the ocean - and tons of footage of the team hitting obscure curbs and ledges in the suburban beach city.
