Photographer and forever-traveller, Carles Medina shoots surfing and skating, but from the viewpoint of an insider, documenting the unpredictable moments and lifestyles of surf and skate's surrounding youth culture.
Medina recently embarked on a trip from NYC to Cali with a viewfinder stuck to his eye. What came out of the trip is this incredible collection of perfectly juxtaposed shots of the warm, bright and open landscapes and beaches of California and the dark, grey impacted nature of NYC.
