Remember Miike Snow? Those progressive-pop dudes that would wear freaky rabbit masks on stage while performing?
After three years on hold - Christian Karlsson and Pontus Winnberg have been busy producing music for Katy Perry and other as production duo Bloodshy & Avant - the Swedish trio has returned with a new song entitled "Heart Is Full." The three musicians are regularly in high-demand for their production skills. Karlsson and Winnberg wrote ‘Toxic’ for Britney Spears and Andrew Wyatt co-wrote Bruno Mars’ ‘Grenade,’ not to mention their own solo projects, however they're back to making music as a cohesive unit an making a statement with the new soul-sampled song.
"Heart Is Full," taken from Miike Snow's upcoming third LP, III, is a serious comeback track; a big and bold statement to their return. It has the hazy, catchy vocal melodies by Wyatt of old Miike Snow, but booms with horns and an emphatic half-time beat that pulsates throughout the three-and-half-minute track.
The band looks forward to releasing III sometime in 2016; an album that Winnberg says is their "most innovative and creatively unified work thus far.
