M.I.A. dropped a track, “Boom ADD,” last week that stands as an extended version of "Boom Skit," which appeared on 2013's Matangi.
The track kicks off with a cheeky skit referencing her spat with the NFL in 2012, which began when the the activist rapper flipped the bird during her appearance on stage with Madonna at Super Bowl Halftime Show. The league attempted to fine her $16.6 million. The song opens up with a message from a lawyer explaining the NFL's lawsuit against M.I.A., during which he says, "They're suing you for damaging their fantastic reputation by flipping the bird."
Following the skit, the track blends into a steady, slanted “boom shakka lakka” beat.
