The elusive DOOM has reunited one of his long-dormant collaborative projects, Madvillian. The unstoppable and acclaimed duo - DOOM and Madlib - have come together once again to share a new song called “Avalanche,” which is now available on 7” vinyl via Madlib’s label, Madlib Invazion.
While “Avalanche” has been floating around since the turn of the decade, with snippets of the track even debuted during a Stones Throw Records mixtape back in 2011, today marks the first time the full version has seen official release. For some fans this release might mean an upcoming Madvillainy 2 - a long awated proper sequel to MW as fans held out hope that Madvillain 2—the long-awaited proper sequel to the duo's classic debut record. Does such a thing exist?
