Black Rebel Motorcycle Club Return With "Little Thing Gone Wild"

September 18, 2017

The leather-clad California trio of Peter Hayes (vocal, guitar, harmonica), Robert Levon Been (vocal, bass, guitar), and Leah Shapiro (drums), better known as Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, are back with a devilish new single called “Little Thing Gone Wild,” and it’s the first taste off their newly announced upcoming album, Wrong Creatures, out January 12, 2018.

Nick Launay, famed for his work with Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Arcade Fire and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds is in the producer’s chair for Wrong Creatures, so you know it’s going be a good one. Wrong Creatures is BRMC’s seventh studio album, and their seductive “Little Thing Gone Wild” is a bluesy rock and roll stomper, recalling some of their sound from 2003’s Take Them On, On Your Own. It's has that traditional dark and brooding BRMC feel, with Hayes casually addressing death in his twisted, humorous tone.
