Arctic Monkeys have reached NO. 1 in the UK album chart for the 6th time in a row with their latest album Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino. They have sold 45,500 in vinyl sales its first week, making it the fastest selling vinyl in 25 years surpassing Oasis which sold 16,000 vinyl copies in its first week last October.
The album has been the most popular on all formats this week with 86,000 combined chart sales across physical, digital and streaming. Arctic Monkeys also outsold the rest of the Top 40 combined on the Official Vinyl Albums Chart this week.
