Gridlink- Amber Gray

Gridlink is an insane grindcore band that was formed in 2004 by Jon Chang and Steve Procopio of Discordance Axis. The concept of Gridlink, so far shown in their only album Amber Gray, is to play brutally fast yet passionate grindcore that will bring a smile to not only Discordance Axis fans' faces, but to the world as well. The album is only around 11 minutes long, but you'll be finding yourself playing it over and over again as you never quite stop wanting to hear more. If Jon Chang and company can make an 11 minute album with this much technicality in their music, then I wonder why some bands even try anymore.

To sum up Amber Gray, it's amazing. It starts off with a title track, "Amber Gray," which is basically like a drug dealer handing you your first bit of cocaine. Every song is precise, vicious, and progressive, yet wildly all over the place at the same time. And on top of that, you have a fan favorite grindcore vocalist at the healm. You cannot go wrong at all here, so get your hands on this album asap. You already had 2 years, but you're forgiven...for now.
